4GB MEMORY STICK PROBLEM

Ok, so I got me the 4GB Sony MemoryStick PRO DUO MagicGate and for some reason, videos will only play for about 10 seconds when they stop and a message saying "this video cannot be played" appears and I cannot longer whatch the video. What's weird is that I have the smaller 32MB memory stick and it works fine. I've tried converting the videos using CloneDVD Mobile, PSPv9 and PSP Max Media Manager...all with the same result..10 seconds of video playback..message appears...I'm screwed. Any idea why these videos won't work with the 4GB card, but will with the 32MB one? I have the latest firmware for the console too. Any help will be appreciated.

im aware that you buy a fake ms.
where did you bought it?
simply check in the menus of ur psp with the 4 gb ms in >go under photo>memory stick>information>what is say after MAGICGATE if its unknown then its a fake a genuine it will say support
fake ms usually died after 3 or 4 week. and they are found mostly on ebay.

it doesn't have to be under the photo option it under the photo music video and game just go to memory stick under one of them and press triangle then press information to see

Card finally took a crap today, I was loading some MP3s, suddenly I was told the destination folder was corrupted, then the PSP told me there was no MS inserted and couldn't recognize it at all. So, this will be the last time I buy anything like that on eBay.

I got mine off of ebay and it's been running a good year now. (It also is fake.)
I have to reformat the memory stick every once and a while because of the same problem, but afterwords it works just as good as the day I bought it and I back up the data weekly so it's no big deal.

i bought a memory stick from ebay and it is fine. but i didnt check if it was fake yet.

i know i am a little late but i have a 4gb ms and it has been working great for about 2 months now and it says my magicgate is unknown are you sure that is how you tell if they are fake?

i bought a 4gb card for $40 on ebay and it sucked. it was garbage. pure crap.
so catch the circuit city deals for $45 for a 4gb legit one!

yeah man, rumour has it that they even found a way to make it say MAGICGATE SUPPORTED NOW! thats just scary :S you will never know if its fake or real... but i heard of this memory stick tester on qj, look it up.
