DVD BURNER!?

does it matter what brand you have to burn backup discs?

i have a lightscribe DVDRW DRW-6S160H CSG6 that i bought from COMP USA... i wasnt into the whole backup thing but since i bought the mod for the ps2 i started to backup my games like i read in the tutorials and i use Swap Magic 3.6 and i still cant seem to get the games to work.

i even try to do the book ype and nothing seems to read @ DVD ROM!!

should i get rid of it and get myself a BenQ DVD Burner.. i keep reading good thing about those?..

please help!

i have also wasted a crap load of DVD's..

i bought 3 DVD Spindels

MAXELL - DVD-R 16x

SONY - DVD+R AccuCORE RW

TDK - DVD+R

does please someone just hook it up with all the best in one reply.. so i dont have to keep on reading all the post about them because they all seem to be confusing.. wokring yes and no.. same things other results... i have the FAT PS2 w/ Swap Magic 3.6
