if you change your gamertag will that unban you from bungie's ban on halo 2 matchmaking?

no its not the console thats banned. bungie links their bans to gamercards. only mircosoft can ban consoles. that said, not likely.
i got banned from halo 2 mm awhile back and i just started a new account.

not neccesarly,

your tag comes with more than a name, personal info.
im thinking that this info includes a personal serial number for your account. this personal serial number explains why you would not lose any of your friends/acheivements/download history ect..
the only reason it might work is because its an original xbox game.
thus its using their orignal banning system, at least that i know of.
but this, still, is sceptical, since purchased downloads are also traacked in old xbox live.

you can try, but to say the least, i am doubtful.

alright well it will be a few days before i can try as i dont have halo 2 right now, i let someone barrow it since i was banned, but as soon as i get it i will try it
