Hiya need some help!!

Just got my Dbox2 from germany ,plugged it in got channel listings select channel and it says error channel not availible! any ideas??

straight in with the kill, more information

like

box type
image running
do you get any free to air channels like BBC 1 ?
have you done another scan selecting correct cable provider and ensuring fast scan is set to off

can get free to view channels

when you got the box from germany did you plug it in or did you runa full scan for all channels

Ah just read the the scan tutural!!

It had brutforce scan ran that and now i've got all s*y sport an movie channels

I ran scan with

Scan for services: tv&radio
Bouquet: leave current
Cable provider: Brutfore
Fast scan: on

anything else I should do??

How can you find out what version of software or img you installed??

What is the best image and software combination out there/reconmendations??

Have you tried a different Cable provider.Go into dbox,5,settings,service scan.cable provider press ok repeatedly to get cable uk sym6952,make sure fast scan is off,scroll down to scan now an press ok.Hopefully should be ok.

I've only got "Fast" or "Bruteforce" option under Cable provide???

looks like you need a new cable.xml file with the bruteforce and the other two providers.

can you access your dbox via a PC to transfer a file, if so I can email you the file.
