Completed download but box not working

I am a new user and between me buying the starview box and receiving it, it got switched off. I have now completed the download required, however, the box will not return to normal. This has been the case for the past 2 hours.

I have no picture or menu or any signs of life for that matter. There is a dash which moves from the left to the right on the front of the box. Can anyone help?

Have just downloaded again but same happens - still no life and that dash continues from left to right!
