psx2psp without downgrading

is it possible for me to put a psx game onto my psp without having to downgrade, cuz i dont really wanna take the chance of bricking.

i have the regular firmware form sony, just v3.03. i have tried but when i try to play the game it says "to use content, u must activate the system". whats wrong?

There is actually I way for you to put psx games on your Psp. You would have to go buy a PS3($600) then go buy them from the PSstore for ($8.00). Or you could downgrade for free and upgrade for free and play them for free. I dont know what sounds better to you, but anything with free sounds good to me. I dont know why people freak out about bricking. Just follow the instructions nothing should go wrong. If you dont toughen up you will be stuck at 3.03 forever. You took a chance once when upgrading so take another when you downgrade.

The only way to brick your psp is if you do not read the instructions and re-read them again. If you follow them you should have no trouble downgrading. Never guess on a step, if you are unsure on what to do then come back here and ask.

3.03oe-c is the newest firmware. Super easy installation, cant really F#%* it up too much.
