I have psp fw 1.5, and i try to upgrade it to 2.71. I downloaded the eboot and put it in the update folder all caps. I turn on psp go to game then got to 2.71 fw update then it loads to the start update screen then it says data corrupt. I have tried downloading the eboot from different sources but they are all corrupt. Can someone help me. I dont want to use network update because it will update my psp too high.
If I update using network update, will it take me to firmware 3.03 and if it does would be able to downgrade it and if I would be able to downgrade it where is guide? I dont have TA-082 mobo. Thanks!!
