Hi, finally took the plunge and downgraded successfully from 3.03 to 1.5!!
I want to install 3.03 OE-C (Dark alex firmware) and intend to do so when my 2gb Mem stick arrives off ebay. But i have a few questions, i'd be greatful if you could answer them for me.

1. How safe is it to upgrade to 3.03 oe-c?
2. Will i still be able to run UMDs?
3. Will the internet browser function as usual (i use this alot and it's obviously not on 1.5)?

Sorry, I did look on the forums but may have overlooked somethings. Please be patient, I'm quite new at this! Hopefully this post wont have angered to many of you!

Sorry, Can i also ask, is the 3.03 OE-C Easy installer on

Will this minimise the risk of Brick and also install recovery mode?

Sorry for all the Qs, just dont want a useless lump of £180 plastic!

i downdraded my ta-082 from 3.03 as well and updated to 3.03 oe-c
yes there is an internet browser
yes it runs umd's and basically its has almost all of the features of sony's 3.03 the only things that it is missing are corean language and locationfree player but it had to be removed so there is enough space for the homebrew stuff
