How do you adjust lens angle on a V10 PS2? I need help!

I've been sucessful in adjusting the lens angle on an older PS2 using the single white cog, but how do you do it for the newer ones tha use 2 white cogs? My PS2 makes a lot of noise while loading and takes a long time, I've fooled around with the cogs a lot, but can't seem to find a good setting. I just installed a new laser, which is why I have to readjust it in the first place..
