well im not going to go into detail but when u load games it goes thru the kernel. different kernels have different ways of loading homebrew, games whatnot. They give you the option of being able to choose which kernel is used when loading from the GAME folder, giving better reliability for homebrew.

thanx heaps for this awsum installer, saved me heaps of time and one of the easiest installers to run... i am now a proud owner of 3.03 OE-C all thanx to hexitnow and his installer

hex i managed to get my PSP in order all it needed was going to default settings and my screen is back on now.Hope you remember me from last night. I need to install 3.03oec could you please let me know if i could do it with 64MB memory stick, just have some doubts if my 2GB is real, maybe that was my problem.

well what firmware do u have to downgrade from? if it is over 2.80 do u have the unpatched version of GTA:LCS?

im sorry but im really dumb when it comes to downgrading or upgrading. when i use the winstaller, it asks me for the root of my psp. would it be like..... removable disk (F:)

when u hook ur psp up to ur PC it assigns it a drive letter. Thats what you need to choose is the drive letter assigned to ur psp.

If you would have read the screens in the winstaller it tells you what to do. thats the whole reason i made this thing. run the 3.03 OE-C update app on ur PSP and it will install it.

1 more question how do i put games on the memory card. i went to psp-hacks.com and tried to put some of the games from the site on the card in the gam150 folder, the gamed303 folder, the game folder and the iso folder but it said data corrupted

Isos go in ISO folder, homebrew games/apps in GAME150 folder, andPSX games in the GAME folder.
