I'm thinking of doing the same thing (my psp is 3.02B right now)

Can it do everything that the 3.02B can do (SNES, NES, PS1)

Is it easier to play back'd UMD with that version?

for snes games, I usually have to run the 1.50 kernal, and just exec the SNES9x emulator

haha

I got all that figured out. I'm trying to get emulated UMDs, and trying to convert ccd --> iso --> pbp

anyway, you can do a google search.

If you wait like 6 hours, I could also upload you what I use (GBA, NES, SNES, etc)

what firmware are you using?

did you create an ISO folder in your root menu?

Do you have a UMD inserted in the disc drive?

It might be your mem stick. I recently bought a 4gb stick from ebay ( pretty sure it's not Sony but guessed that b4 purchase)I put champ snooker 07 on it but it will not load fully(games of smaller size work fine CS 07 is about 900mb). Tried it on my 1gb stick and it's fine. The annoying thing was I downgraded 2 of my mates psp's and put CS 07 on as a wee extra and it worked fine for both of them. They a running 2gb hooky mem sticks, go figure. Try your m8's mem stick to test this probably unlikely theory :)

i read somewhere in this thread that u need to have a umd in your psp to play iso's. can i just use my demo that came with it? and once i installed 3.03 oe-c, would i be able to bring it back to 1.5 for some reason?

it doesnt really matter what umd you use as long as it spins and is inside the case

For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

Yes it does matter actually. If you use a UMD movie from a different region then it might not work. but u can always try faking the region too.

yes UMD demo's are about the only thing I use. That at and the UMD Sampler Disk Volume 1. Volume 2 doesn't work properly.
