hi hexitnow, i have psp fw version 3.10 oe-A and it got bricked when i was changing the xmb thing. if i use ur recovery thingy, will it unbrick???

ok cool im usin it now but it stopped at 50% and isnt moving. is that normal, my ms light is blinking. does that mean its installin the files?

ok sry if ur typin but thx ur recovery thing saved me a s*** load of money and this psp doesnt have a warenty cuz it ran out. i dont know what i would do without u man thx so much.

I have a psp with the official 2.60 patch on it, and I was wondering what steps i have to go through to get this to work as safely as possible. I got it to where when i go to the game menu on the psp the 3.03 update is there but when i click it, it just goes to the word sony psp and turns black....and then i cut my psp back on and its normal again.

you would be better off upgrading to 2.71 and downgrading from there. 3.03 requires the use of the GTA:LCS UMD.

all u gota do is upgrade to 2.71 then use 2.71 downdater to go to 1.5 fw. after dl 3.10 oe-a cfw ok? if u dont undetstand pm me

hey Hex...ye who is strong with the force...gotta strange one for ya....looking to get my mates PSP onto 3.03OE-C....thing is, he's on 2.00 that thinks its 1.50, on a Jap PSP....can ure winstaller files be ran straight off memstick to upgrade or should he be upgradin to 3.03,down to 1.50,then back to 3.03OE-C? he's been tryin to upgrade to 3.03 and keeps gettin some 'funky' screens,see below.....these screens show once official 3.03 update is ran....

ok dude idk bout his thing but again, DONT UPGRADE TO 3.03. IT REQUIRES GTA:LCS UNPATCHED WHICH IS VERY HARD TO FIND. upgrade to 2.71 fw and then use 2.71 downdater to go to 1.5. after that get the 3.10 oe-a (newest cfw) or 3.03 oe-c installer by hex and run it.

GTA hard to find? i've gotta copy in front of me rite now! went through this process already for my PSP with HEX jus yesterday, now goin round and doin my mates' who dont have GTA....servicing the PSP community....the query is why his PSP aint takin to the update...if it has somethin to do with his PSP being hacked already or if he needs to jus run the installer for 303OE-C to update without having to go thru the downgrading process cause his PSP is 2.00 hacked to run 1.50.....

wow dude r u sure u have an UNPATCHED version. is the update on the umd 2.00 if not then u cant do anything unless u upgrade to 2.71 and dg

I have one sitting in front of me also. But yes it's still not the easiest game to come acrossed (patched version that is ).

Hey Hex...agree.....understandbly GTA unpatched not easiest to find, no denying,jus lettin killer kno i had it.....any thots on why the updater to 3.03 aint takin hold on my mates PSP?

ok if ur friend has a waked out version of fw on his psp then as far as i know he cant downgrade or upgrade except to another version of the one he has currently installed. hex if u know anything can u help out

i am now a proud owner of psp with custom FW 3.03 oe-c. i got another question though. once i installed it, i formatted my MS and opened it up in my computer. i see folders for iso, vidoeos, music, picture, mp_root, and psp. my question now is.... where do i put the psx games in?
