The disc has encountered and error.
x: 5014.0 b: 1884.0

what does this mean? i burned with a verbatim DVD-R single layer with a samsung drive flashed with the latest firmware that supports single layer. if anyone can shed some light to what this means, please help. note: it works on my regular xbox that has a modchip.

i get that all the time, and im cant figure it out. i think its the way the game is burned and the fact that it wasnt backed up properly

i don't understand where i made the mistake. i mean it played on my original xbox. and ive successfully backed up halo 2 with the same method.

i upgraded the firmware on the samsung drive. then i used clonecd to burn the .dvd file i made specifying the layer break. your firmware must be able to recognize the single layer support.

how did you get a .iso file from halo 2 to fit on a single layer? Did you have to delete some files or did you just put it on a dl disc?
