how do i get to use homebrew on my psp which has 2.82 firmware?

there is no 2.82 downgrader. there is a 3.03 downgrader, so upgrade to 3.03 and then downgrade to 1.5. 1.5 is the one needed to play homebrew, but i recommend from 1.5 to upgrade to 3.03 oe-x, which is a custom firmware hybrid that dark alex made, between 3.03 and 1.5 so u can still play homebrew on it, yet it allows the functionality of official sony firmware 3.03

Unfortunately u can only downgrade from 3.03 if u have the unpatched version of GTA:LCS. And this downgrade method is ur only option.
