Help please! newbie.Recovery folder went missing!

g'day

i bought a psp 2.71 ta-082 and successfully downgraded to 1.5FW and upgraded to 3.03 OE-B by following the easy installer on page 1.

Thanks to kealvalros for the excellent guide,Dark Alex ,Booster and Mat.

After when upgrading to 3.03 OE-A , I shutdown,boot into Recovery mode ->Config. make changes.Then I formatted my MS for a safer transition to OE-B version. Everything went well. Then I fully shutdown but this time I could'nt boot into Recovery mode. Green light, black screen.
I reinstall it again and successfully boot into Recovery mode. Again make the config. changes checking with the guide.

When I switch it on today, on my PSP->GAME->Corrupted Data.
The Recovery Folder was in the PSP->GAME yesterday is now gone.

I'm afraid to upgrade to OE-C without the Recovery mode.

Your comment is my guide.

Reinstall the recovery folder. It doesnt matter if those files arent there anyway. U can access usb from the recovery menu.

Followed ur instruction and reinstalled the Recovery folder
Surprisingly I can now boot into Recovery mode.....

I'm flabbergasted as I have try the reinstalling before posting for help.......it didn't work.....lol

Aaaaaaaah, I did format my MS to clear the corrupted data before reinstalling......could this be the culprit?

Wait a minute...........

The 'Corrupted Data' info is back in GAME->MemoryStick on my PSP now.
What should I do?

The corrupted data is normal showing under GAME.

All well....if its normal I guess I can live with that.

With my Recovery mode back working, I intend to upgrade to the OE-C version asap as I haven't had a chance to try any gameplay.......

Fingers cross with my upgrade tomorrow
