Suikoden V sound delay

I recently backed up suikoden V but I noticed it was in NTSC format which comes up in black and white on my t.v, so I forced it to go into PAL using swap magic ( 3.6 ) the black line at the bottom is ok because you can adjust the screen, but on some of the videos it seems that the voices play too early causing a sound delay, also sometimes the background music of a certain area will just stop playing after about a minute or so and you can only hear your footsteps running. I've tried using the ps2_ntsc2pal_yfix program which has worked well before but the same problem still happens. Also if I leave it in NTSC the sound is normal which is strange. I would be gratefull for any help.
