I have heard that 3.03 OE-B supports recovery of a semi-bricked PSP. But do I have to set it up in advance? Meaning is there anything I have to do to activate that feature? Thanks a lot

just put the eboot where it needs to go. then to load the menu during 'start up' you hold R.

I'm sorry, but do you mean PSP\GAME\UPDATE by "where it needs to go"?

where-ever the read-me tells you to place the recovery eboot.

i don't remember off the top of my head. sorry

I'm guessing you've got to rename the official sony 1.50 update as UPDATE.PBP and then paste it as PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\UPDATE.PBP?

thats not all u need. there should be a total of 5 files in the RECOVERY folder.

Plz could u elaborate on that? Which 5 files? Have I got to download them? Or are they already there when I install 3.03 OE-B?

I know I sound stupid and ignorant, but I want to save my PSP from getting bricked.

well they dont have to be installed u can still access USB via recovery menu. Anyhow no they arent on ur memorystick. there is 4 files and the update file that go in the recovery folder.
