I just used Nero burning Rom. I personally only burn my ps2 games on Verbatim DVD-R, so i wouldn't know what kind of DVDecrypter can or cannot burn. I dind't check my original game for the black screen, I'll probably post it tomorrow.

The is a file dvd 5 version of this file that seems to be a perfect rip with downsampled movies, so far none of the guys have complained about anything being messed up such as freezing etc.
It includes everything bonus movies the lot.

I'm downloading it now, seems to be going a bit slow for me :( .

File name is PS2.GOD.OF.WAR.FullDVD.Pal.Multi5.By.EnEsBe .

Hope this helps some of the guys that's having problems doing their own rips :) .

I don't know, like i said, i downloaded the NTSC version once, which is different by the way. Especially the part that you need to sacrifice a human life. I missed that part in the PAL version, where you suddenly have a monster to sacrifice. The NTSC version freezed at a loading point somewhere on the top of Pendora's temple. Not only that, but it looked like it was ruining my laser, and i don't like to do that. This backup that i made with the tutorial works. Just remember that not all downloaders are completely honest about what goes on in the files they share.

By the way, i checked the end with my original game today. after the ending scene, i get a short movie that tells me that i have conquered god of war, and that i can replay the game now in god mode. So i guess i won't get that with the back up. But i don't care, i do not need to play the game again.

Today was the day, i had time to burn the .iso file...
First i tried it with a Verbatim+ 16X with the burn speed 6X and with Nero... that was bad.. didnt work at all...
then i tried it with a Sony- 8X with the burn speed 1X and with DVD Decrypter -> that works at the moment very good... Well just played 30 minutes, but i want to thank everyone who helped me ( Drekzz ;) )
