I've got the game, i've upgraded my PSP to 3.03, put 3.03 downgrader on my memory stick and 1.50 eboot and after i run x.yz it tells me then it can't find the update and starts the game
Can anyone please help me and tell me what i'm doing wrong

What version of Firmware does ur psp say it needs when you stick in thwe GTA:LCS UMD.

version 2.0 i know its the right game because it has patched my motherboard and then it says can't find update

u might want to try one of the downgrade packages that copies all files to ur psp for you. only leaving you with having to run the program on ur psp.

but it already has gone to 3.03 hen and patched my motherboard.
Would it be safe to try easy downgrader?

You have to rename the 1.5 EBOOT to UPDATE.pbp

its asking me to put nickname but every time i press a button it goes black for a minute any way of exiting the setup and do it later?

somehow ur f1 files got corrupt and keep getting corrupt. u might want to try reinstalling the firmware or connecting f1 over usb and throwin in some already made registry files. then it wont ask for a nickname.

Well I dont know the exact steps u took and where ur at in the downgrader but if nothing is responding its about ur only choice.

try downloading someones registry files from the net and sticking them on your psp. Once u do get it running ull want to upgrade to a different firmware (3.03 OE-C) or (2.00 and downgrade back to 1.5).

i went all the way, it flashed my psp and then i got settings corrupt and was trying to reset the settings but it won't allow me to do anything

exactly something is happening to where ur f1 registry settings keep getting corrupted. u can use someone elses (i think) to get past the nickname part but ull want to upgrade to a different firmware to rid the problem.
