Problem Burning Xbox 360 Backups

Hello,
Ive been having a problem Backing up my Xbox 360 games.
This is what id do;
1. Rip Xbox 360 game using samsung drive and schtrom360xtract v3.1
2. Open CloneCd
3. Click write from image file button
4. Select xbox 360 game .DVD file
5. Choose Drive (Pioneer 111d w/ latest firmware)
6. Choose Speed (2.4x best disks will do)
7. Start burn
Itd all be working fine till it gets to 51% it then just stops.
Sometimes it'll continue and this rare 6 working backups out of a pack of 25.
Sometimes itll just stop and not write anymore
Sometimes i get an error message "Power Calibration Error"
Ive tried using ImgBurn and settign the layerbreak myself and actually burning the the .000 image file.

I bought these because reading the comments everyone was saying how they work fine with pioneer 111d.
Anyone know how i could fix this problem?
Apart from the obvious buy verbs which i will do when i get the money.

Man I feel your pain. I have the same burner too Pioneer 111D with latest firmware. I went through 60 verbs and only 20 of them worked. lucky I bought mine at best buy and returned the 40 coasters told them something is wrong them. Ive been getting the same errors and i've backed up over 100 gms b4 with slim to no coasters all of a sudden its coaster city. I un installed Clone and re-installed still the same problem so what I did this morning after the 45th coaster I went to best buy bought the Pioneer DVR-1810 burner with the same disc that my pioneer 111D was making coasters out of and im 2 for 2 so far with the new Pioneer DVR-1080. I burn my media @ 4x F.Y.I.

soo much for a pionner 111d being best of the best fro burning 360 games.
looks like ill be buying that 1 uv got then when i get some money.

Ive had no more coasters with DVR-1810 im now 25 for 25 guys hope the info helps all.

or just use xbox backup creator
xbox V1.0 250GB Seagate UnleashX

Just tried to burn using XBOX BACKUP CREATOR... it worked!
the only problem is it was my last disk so i need to buy some more!

i herd the xbox 360 Phillips dvd rom are extremly hard to get to play backups mainly because the xtreme firmware hasnt been perfected for it.
thats what i herd.

Hey im having trouble getting my xbox 360 to play backups too, i've flashed my hitachi drive with the xtreme firmware, but the only 1 game out 5 i've burned worked but only on call of duty 2, so if any one can recommend a easy way to cipy and burn games please share with me, thanks. (im already using the hotswap)

nvm i found but do i hook the 360 drive upto my computer and then or can you type a quick guide for me thanks.

Hi not to sure if you have done this yet but update the firmware on the pioneer drive to 129d and best media i think is verbatim dual layer.

make whatever drive detected by windows and just open XBC and pick your drive from the drop down box and click start under the read tab and it will dump the game

ahh finally got them working and burning fine
bought some bulkpaq, burnt at 2.4x with xbox backup creator and a pioneer 111d, worked fine!
