Naw.. there hasn't been any official word yet. Some say there should be a price cut some time this year, but of course MS won't confirm that. They want to keep selling consoles instead of people holding out for the cut.

last time i checked walmart online, they had a package with premium system, 2 games, 2 wireless controllers for like $430. that was 2 weeks ago when i was looking for a Wii.

I remember an interview on IGN with one of the guys at M$, and he said M$ is looking at ways to cost reduce the 360 for the consumers- which may indicate a forthcoming price drop; on the other hand, with more high-profile games coming out within the coming months, I don't think the prices will drop due to demand.

premium is the best, i wouldn't even look at the core system. with core its not even next gen!!
