what burning software do you have on your system? you don't have to run your copy through shrink, just use your burning software, and hit the button that says copy disk

I have been able to copy a back up disc. I use Shrink to write an
ISO and then burn with Imgburn. I do not keep old ISOs on my
computer since it takes up too much space. So I have Shrink write
a new ISO. It takes about 13 minutes since the back up disc is not
encrypted you don't need to use anything else. Hope this works for
you.

Been tempted to shoot a time or two myself but hang in there.
You shouldn't have to use reauthor on a disc you have already
backed up because it should backup at 100% of that disc. I'm
thinking the original backup may still be on your machine someplace.
I know when I first deleted backup files they went into the
recycle bin until it was dumped. It was in my Norton protected
Recycle Bin. Is that posssible. My backups were originally
written with DVDXCopy and Imgburn. What program did you write
with? When you use Shrink are you trying a direct burn or are
you writing an ISO file to your hard drive?

Just because a copy plays well doesn't mean it will copy. I don't know how it happened, but a copy of mine got intermittent write errors all the way through and those bad sectors wouldn't allow the copy to be copied. It played well on the standalone. A scan of the disc would show if that's the problem. Otherwise any disc copy utility should copy the copy (it's already been cleaned of copy protection and sized to the media).
