Well not really.

But here we go...

I went to open my computer, to see if i had a PCI Sata Card, but i didnt look on the motherboard(yeah i know im a noob). So i thought i didnt have one and would have to order one(big whoop 20$), but just for kicks and giggles i went to load the USB stick with Xtreme bootmaker and when i went to Locate the id of the card, it actully worked....

I used the selection Standard dual channel PCI IDE Controller and it came up with an id.

So my question is, do i need to buy a PCI card?

Also, i was watching a "outdated" and they used the Firmware xtreme 33, when they went to copy the bin file to the desktop there was only one file, when i go to use xtreme52 It shows Many(like maybe 20-30 files....

What am i missing ?

Thanks

Rastaguy

Aka the Noob

yeah you used an IDE, you need to use a SATA chipset run msinfo32.exe and see if you do have a sata chipset and if so what it is and then format your drive using that chipset

Screw the SYBA card. Get this one, works on M25/M28 and all Hitachi drives.
