First of all hi to all of u im new here and the only thing i want is to make an xbox iso file. I downloaded a plenti of programms which where prommising to make an working xbox iso file out of my halo xbox dvd game, but none of theme really worked.
Its always the same I enter the dvd in dvdrom drive and there is only 1 folder called video and not 1 more. So when i wanna creat an iso file with (for example) xiso i wanna first read the dvd, but when i click on read button after selecting dvd rom drive it jsut says "NO xbox files system found" but im pretty sure on my halo dvd there is. are you putting the Halo game into your computer dvd-rom drive? the only way i know to make an ISO of an xbox game is FTP'ing into the xbox and transfering the game to your PC's hard drive then making the XISO. a modchip is also required to do this task.

AMD XP 2100+
ABIT KR7A m/b
ATI 8500LE 128MB DDR video card
1GB of Corsair DDR Ram
Seagate (2)60GB
Lite-On 48x12x40 CD-R/W drive
Pioneer A05

Well that sure answers why I couldnt get it working. Here these programs are expecting you know know all this. For one tho I have no idea how to install a mod chip or any idea how to put the ISO on the hard drive then put it on my computer. I looked into all the steps to do and it just looks like one huge pain in the ass to ever bother w/ it. Is there any place where I can just download an already made XISO of halo to try out this emulator and save me the trouble?

I've looked into backing up my xbox games. I found out that the so called xfat system with is in use by the xbox is not yet recognisable by standard pc's. There has to be a way of editing a driver to understand the xfat. But I was unable to find any info on the xfat system.

So every time you backup a game you just get what the PC can understand which is the DVD directorys and files but no game.

Yeah exactly. I wish there was some way of it reading that. It looks like to much of a pain in the ass to get the XISO's the so called normal way.
