grudge2 unrated region 1........used AnyDVD 6.1.1.4 and clonedvd2 6.9.0.3......i get dvd structure corrupt or unreadable.
whats going on below?

try it again, i had no problems what so ever useing the same, AnyDVD 6.1.1.4 or clonedvd2 (the newest one)

can you try a different dvd drive, my 2 friends also backed it up no problem, also is you clonedvd2 up to date ??

Use ripit4me. Go to http://www.ripit4me.org and read the guides. It is all free and it has ripped into and out of anything it is given. It is my ace in the hole.
If that combined with the AnyDVD, CloneDVD combo does not work it may be a bad disk. This can happen even if there is no apparent damage to the disk to the naked eye.
Try taking it back for a new one if this is the case.

If you have tried many things and still can't get it to copy, it may be a bad press. It's not uncommon. It happens sometime. If you can, try to return the disc to where you bought it in exchange for another copy.

How's it goes it bb? I am so curious about the AnyDVD/CloneDVD with today's releases. Ripit updated and it seems like fab did too in the last few days but nothing so far from SlySoft. Could you post the time it took with each one? I know this is crazy, but I would like to compare. Some are down on ripit because of the time it takes. I don't see TOO much diff????? I am super piqued as Slysoft took it's time to update for the new encryption last time even with any.clone combos movie only was the only option for a few.

Grudge 2 was no problem for me. Check out my signature for my process. I used the latest AnyDVD and VOBB version 2130 beta 4.
No problems whatsoever. That includes the rest of the new releases for today (Hollywoodland, Running with Scissors, Flags of Our Father).
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Hi well I didn't really time them but I guess I can estimate.
DVDFabDecrypter method was faster than most around 20min
RipIt4Me is quite a bit slower around 40min, but in it's defense it works when all else fails!
VobBlanker method is about the same as ripIt4Me
AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 method is the fastest if it works around 15 min
Damn!! This running with scissors movie is a challenge but I like a challenge LOL

Yes on Ripit4me. I had 2 that I could only eventually could get just the movie. AnyDVD and Clonedvd2 which you have to pay for can't touch it. You need to exit AnyDVD and have DVD Decrypter, Fixvts and Shrink. Ripit4me guides you through the whole process. I am sure the big boys will try to stop this too.

@bbmayo - Thanks...those are about the numbers I was expecting. Don't get me wrong. I think ANYONE (including mods of slysoft team) should be multi tasking doing this sort of thing & the time should not be as big an issue as the quality and IMHO ripit is on top of the new encryptions a lot faster. Perhaps it takes longer because it is more sophisticated. ie it still works with shrink & their programmers issue updates quick, they don't seem to have to rework too much.
an aside...clone fails to burn automatically on full version of open season for me?? Ripit was flawless using decrypter to burn. I find the clonemobile far more useful than their other products. Unless it is an older movie I want done in a hurry.
