FFVIII in 3.10OE-A keep crashing???

I have a PSP with 3.10 OE-A installed, however when i play FFVIII Disk 1, it keep crashing when i fight the bosses but fine when fighting random enemies. any help or suggestion will be greatly appreaciated.

Known issue with ffviii crashes on boss, wait till new firmware is released

Yeah, VIII is really buggy like that for me too, here is a couple things to try to prevent crashes:

1) Set the camera to remain still. Half the crashes are due to camera movements when casting spells.

2) Try not to draw from bosses. I know I know, we need GF's, go ahead and draw them.

3) Finally stay away from Scan. Its useless anyways.

Follow these and you should be in pretty good shape. Guys have made it throught the entire game so I think you can too!

im running VIII NTSC on 3.03 OE-C
and its works great ive had no errors at all ive beaten the first boss now im about to take the seed test thing

first time i played my FFVIII
great game

i heard that it can have problems with speed
i ant tryed mine yet as my mate is playing it for the first time
ff9 may be great

at the moment im playing crash bandicoot 3 warped its really great fun on psp

I have 3.03 OE-C and FFVIII still crashes very occasionally, but i'm already on disc 2! =) so my advice is, try not to draw or cast spells too much and don't use scan. and also getting Diablo is impossible >.<
