Can't backup Silent Hill 2006

I start up DVD Shrink and I put the movie in. DVD Shrink starts to read the disk and goes up to 2% then it gives me an error saying I should check the disk's condition. The disk is not scratched or anything, it is brand new.

I got it with DVD Shrink no problem.Try uninstalling DVD Shrink and restart your computer and reinstall DVD Shrink.

Make sure the disk is clean, free of smudges..etc...

Try ripping the video files to your hard drive using DVDFab decrypter (free), once done, use shrink to open the files with and use it as you normally would (see link for DVDFab).

If you just can't backup this flick, there maybe something wrong with the disk, return it and exchange it for another then retry the backup process.

Note: even though the disk is new and plays ok, there can still be a problem with it (bad press) that could cause the backup process to fail.
