I have am extremely close to getting m orig.bin, except now i type mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin and it says MTKFlash By someone blah blah then No Device Detected...Help please.
i think i have all programs and fw downloaded to do this with but when i follow tutorial on 1st step when you use bootmaker, and you are supposed to open firmware i cant get the name of the firmware to show up in 1st box. everytime i open it, it tells me you have selected unknown firmware. would you like to download firmware definition update?...... if i press yes it does nothing, if i press no it says unable to find a matching firmware definition proceed with caution. and then it puts an md5 number in the box. someone please help and tell me what to do??????????????????

Don't worry about the warnings. Let xtreme bootmaker format your boot disk and then browse the bootdisk. Delete EVERYTHING but mtkflash.exe & mtkflash.typ
Power on 360, power on pc and boot with bootdisk
at A:\ type
mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin
Hit enter
Turn 360 off if MS28, leave on if MS25
Hit xtreme primary
IF MS28, count to 10 and turn 360 on.
