Just bought a new Pioneer dvr-111d. It starts burning the games fine but then stops at 51% with this error message

I/O ERROR

Device [1:1:0] Pioneer DVD-RW dvr-111 1.23 (D:) (ATA)

Scsistatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check condition

cdb: 2A 00 00 1D 36 A0 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: write (10) - sectors: 1914528 - 1914559

sense area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 0E 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 00 82 00 00
Interpretation: invalid address for write



Made a load of coasters without 1 good burn.

By the way I have tried xbox backup creator and it fails straight away!

what media are you using? and are your .dvd files set right? what does that look like, is the layer break set right?

make sure to burn at the slowest speed that you can 2.4x. Certain games are a bit tricky to rip but they all burn the same. I burn with slysoft cdclone and have not make one coaster after 15+ backups burning at 2.4 speed using the pioneer and verbatium dl disks.

I am using ridisc DVD+R DL media

and the layer break is set at 1913760

.dvd is set right but refuses to open. I have checked and rechecked. So i'm burning the image

I'm burning at 2.4x

Have tried 7 different games all with the same result
