I bought a version 1.5 psp. I want to upgrade to the latest and greatest firmware. Everywhere I look it tell you how to downgrade but I can't find a tut on upgrading (yes i've looked on PSP-Hacks.com) Please help.

Also what is a "Fake" memory stick. Someone told me not to buy memory sticks from ebay because they're fake...what does this mean?

Go download the 3.03oe-c and read the readme included. Fake means that they are fake and will break.

do you mean the 3.03oe-c winstaller? Do I need to download Devhook or anything like that?

Go get the winistaller, doesnt matter. I think Hexitnow has a nice one. You can tell its fake if it says unknown memory stick type on your psp.
