Hi all sorry for so many questions, but I am a newbie, I have Commander 4 installed, can anyone tell me how to update to the latest version of Commander?, thanks in advance

the latest ver of commando is ver: 7 and has not been released as it is still on beta test but we should be releasing it sometime this weekend if all goes well ;)

Looking forward to trying the teams latest image, Hunter, as commando6 has proved to be a wicked image to use.

I will keep my fingers crossed for this weekend then but if its not quite ready we don't mind waiting till it is.

There will (probably) be an announcement here by Hunter from Team Commando. You need to use IFA to "FLASH" the new image to your box or FTP it to your DBox TEMP folder and upgrade through the menu choosing FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER. However, Commando 7 will not have any emu cams or keys in it so you will have to source them and install to your DBox. Alternatively, if you are not too sure about what to do you can download Commando 6 from this link;

Can you list exactly which files you need to backup from current image before installing the Commando image? Does it matter if you back them up from a sporster image?

If you are installing Commando 6 just back up your services.xml & bouquets.xml files from sportster and put them in Commando.

No I am using Sportster so I need to back up cams etc as Commando doesn't have these I don't think
