dvd shrink, no disc?

for some strange reason when i now put a dvd in my shrink it say no disc in drive e?
last week it was working but now it doesnt read the disc, any ideas?

Which are you using - like Sony 16x +R?

Make and model of burner?

iam using verbatim 16x, my burner is a lg $60 or so

Ok just need the make & model of it - may just need a firmware update.

Have Nero? If so open SmartStart>Tools(or toolkit depending on the version)>InfoTool. Click on the drive tab - the burners make & model will be listed in the dropdown. There will also be a field for the firmware version.
Post this back.

If not go to my computer right click on a drive then go to the hardware tab - the make and model is there too.
