Sorry about rule-breaking, just a little anxious to emulate some great games.. Updated before I knew I shouldn't have..are UMDs really my only option now? Can't really afford new PSP w/2.71FW..

The good news is, 3-11 is already decryptet, so there might be a downgrader soon, but nobody knows.
The bad news is, for now you're stuck on 3-11. Don't upgrade any further.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

What's an average turn-around time for a downgrader to surface after firmware decryption(i.e. 3.11)? just a bit curious...very frustrated now, tho... D'OH!

downgraders arent easy to make. they take alot of time to make and i seen some members here complaining about upgrading, and the downgrader taking to long. thats why the psp sites display a disclaimer saying, DO NOT upgrade if you're an avid homebrew user.

Believe me, If I knew to not update/upgrade, I never would have done it to begin with...this is all new to me! well, patience is a virtue: 'till I can run some proper homebrew! I'm sure when I get the ball rolling, all the forum advice and procedures you experts out there post will come in REAL handy. Thanks in advance,and keep me posted

Good news,I exchanged my TA-082 with 3.11 upgrade (worthless) for one with firmware 2.71, free of charge! We're back in business baby!
Again, thanks to everyone for their time and help, and I'll see you in other threads, most likely.

im looking for an answer to a simple question.
1. where can i download psx games for psp WITH OUT downgrading.
2. and im not interested in torrent so is pspblender legit for its psx games, im a newb guitars my thing just messed up pinky and ring finger and needed a hobby till they heal so can i get some help

What do you mean "without downgrading" ?
You have to have custom firmware to play PSX games.
Also PSPblender is a complete ripoff run by a bunch of greedy con merchants.

1. You need a Dark_Alex custom firmware other than 2.71 SE, so without downgrading impossible.
2. If you don't want torrents, don't go to pspblender or any other page that offers life-time downloads for a small amount of money. You only get torrent links. They are still illegal that way, too.

That's what's called a downgrade and that's not possible on your 3.11 yet.

There is no 3.10 or 3.11 downgrader. Only up to 3.03.
