I think you messed up Decrypter and Downgrader. It is possible to decrypt 3.11 using the 3.10 decrypter, that's how the devs did it. This is possible because 3.11 is for 3.10 official what 3.10 OE-A2 is for 3.10 OE-A, only a small bugfix.

man people i cant belive i buy psp and first that i done was going on ned register it and update firmware to 3.10 man i really fucked up :( ,and first time i was going to look for some cracks is when i buy 5 iso games from pirat in my town .then when i realise what i done i was going nuts i realize that i cant play any homebrew apps or games on my psp for now so darkalex,noobz people pls make some hack for it pls :)

Hello all, I also am one of the poor fools that updated the firmware theday he got his psp, it wasnt by choice, i did the downgrader and downgraded the thing to 1.5, and then the my screen went out and it was out for like 3 hrs..so i started clicking buttons to find the usb screen ...luckily after about 30mins i found it and pulled up the psp...i deleted everything i added...the and then disconnected...the psp flashed and then it came back on but it was different than it was...so in a panic i updated the firmware from sony, cause by now i was thinking i bricked my psp, it flashed made some noices and then came back on back to life and kicking... but then i came to the forums and saw on so many sites, that updating to 3.11 is a homebrew no no....so the only hope i have if i am reading these forums right is to wait for someone to come out with a work around or (hack) for this firmware version am i right so far?.....(man things were so much easier in the dreamcast and xbox modding days....chip it up and go)..thanks for any help you can give and you will probably see me in here alot for the up incoming months...thanks

I am almost to be the one of the victim of this thread.. When I first buy my PSP. I am downloading the upgrade to version 3.11 (I don't know anything about upgrading to 3.11 can't use homebrew) But then I plan to upgrade it later because I don't want to waste time since it is new to me. I play some game with the Free UMD and go to this website.. And I found out that upgrading will make my PSP useless to homebrew... So I was happy that I didnt do it lol...
Now my 2.71 TA-082 is 3.03 OE - C :) (Thanks that is not 3.11 LOL)
Now, I can use the browser and homebrew features and even play latest UMD

Can someone tell me what i need to get started on cracking my psp,i am a coder, and i want to know if there is a psp emulator that i can download to the pc and use to safely work on cracking 3.11...(long story read my post below) there has to be some software that i can use to have like a dummy psp on my pc that i can treat like my actual psp, and work on downgrading the firmware...anyone with any info. Not trying to take anyones thunder or become a homebrew legend just want to figure out a way to downgrade my psp to a firmware that i can use..thanks

I Think I'm the dummest of you guys! because I upgraded my psp to 3.11 and I tought it will be back to normal if I format my memory stick! now I'm all out of stuff and everything! Please hurry up guys! There are millions of happy psp owners stuck in this Freaking firmware!

I bought my PSP for $150 from someone, and was so excited about the price because it was in brand new condition with 2GB HighSpeed Stick, Logitech Case, Remote, and headphone adapter, that I forgot to check the version >< So now I'm stuck waiting for the new downgrader or my neighbor to get one so I can use his box to exchange mine :) Only information I've found is that Dark_Alex is working on the downgrader right now and if all goes as planned he should have it done by next week (don't quote me on that.) He had a video of it on YouTube but someone reported him for it so it was taken down. If you want to keep updated you can always subscribe to his videos:

and what has this thread become? are we all just coming to talk about how we self-destructed our PSPs?
There is no way to downgrade a psp over 3.03 FW back to 1.50 >>> 1.50 req'd for DAX cFW OE's...
If you currently run DEVhook on 1.50, then the 3.10 & 3.11 "decrypter" is what you will need to emulate PSP firmware on a PSP....
...you see people, information!

Guys, we have to stop whining about how we're all screwed because our psp is stuck with firmware 3.11. Yes, I am one of the few idiots who also is stuck with it. My idiot cousin came over and asked if i had the newest firmware. I told no and i dont want it. While i was sleeping he upgraded it. God rest his soul. Anyway, if u do find a downgrader, please tell me.

nope..and thats utter rubbish...that downgrade isnt done yet....
and whatever video you were watching on youtube is also utter rubbish...believe me when i say, its much harder to downgrade a firmware than it is to make it look like its been downgraded (changing fw info on sys. settings)
sit tight, one day soon you will see a 3.10 $ 3.11 downgrade stickied at the top of the threads list....
