Nothing I saw is official, keep that in mind. From what I've been keeping up on, he has it finished and had it up on YouTube, but YouTube banned his account for breaking the terms and regulations :( Hopefully it will be up on the official PSP downgrade sites soon or another YouTube video. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, if I'm right I'm right. Lets just hope I'm right :) I would really love to downgrade my PSP and play all my "backups" ;)

the hell are you talking about? LOL FIRMWARE doesnt run from MS, therefore the MS is useless & all data on it, in terms of the psp system configuration....lol

I figured the guy was misinformed, but some other people are saying that DAX is close or that there may be one out very soon. It's just a wait-and-see game. Is there a way I can keep up with what DAX's doing?

DAX moves in mysterious ways...
He said that hes not releasing 3.11oe because it adds no new features. My guess is that when $ony release a content update, like 3.20 or something, he will release 3.20oe and a downgrader for it.
Im not saying he will im just making an educated guess based on previous firmwares.
So id just hang tight and have faith in DAX if i were you :)

I dont see what the big deal is , i have 3.10 & 3.11to82 (unlike most of you it was @ no fault of my own i bought 2 refurbished and they shipped w/ the FW) there is always going to be a wait if u get the most recent FW I remember less than 6 months ago the to82 was untouchable now ppl can downgrade it... just sit back and wait have more faith in the modders, i bet more than 1/2 of the ppl complianing didnt bother to donate $ to them... for now just play ×gasp× UMD's and browse the net...

i think dark-alex will release a downgrader for 3.11 but wont create a 3.11 open edition or not just yet anyway
lol my mate got his psp a few days ago and immediatly updated to 3.11 and asked me to downgrade i was like cant just send it back say the sounds gone or the umd gets scratches on so they send one with 2.82 or lower on it

any idea when the next firmware is coming like version 3.20 or somn like dat...or they make a 3.11 OE-A and instuctions on how to install a Dark Alex version of a firmware please, when i did it all it said was corrupted data

I found a 3.11 downgrader but is anyone brave enough to try it? O_o . .am not XP
Simply download the file, unzip it to a directory of your choice, then in your PSPs GAME folder, create a folder called "UPDATE" (No Quotes) and paste the EBOOT.PBP in that. Then from your game menu, run the 'update'.

hey fotwinny, i am stuck just like you 3.11 i found out that we can play umd demo's, psp official site has i think 3 demos so far that i can get working: world tour soccer, lokaorka(which is a little kids game you wont like it.)moto gp and syphon filter. and on another note why did i upgrade
because syphon filter demo requires upgrade of 3.03 or higher, i tried 3.03 download and upgrade did not work, so i upgraded threw psp to the lastest upgrade and i had no idea about nes emulators not working on 3.11 lol i guess they should advertise better.

Well, where did you download the 3.11 update? Cause a lot of psp websites state that if you upgrade, you cant run homebrew.

hey why dont all you 3.10 oe-a ppls put "RECOVERY" into your game folder turn your psp off turn it on holding "L" and somewhere in there you can downgrade to 1.5 i do it all the time well not anymore i spilled juice on it.... but if you really want to downgrade to 1.5 from a 3.10 oe-a go to http://youtube.com/profile?user=Cronaldo02 andd send me an email and ill give you specific instructions to downgrade to 1.5. ( you have to download a file called "RECOVERY" first its 13.5 megs small (or big) talk to u later

ALRIGHT it should say 3.12 update to my calculations (i said the last word becuase it made the rest of the sentence sound cool) ANYWAYS it should say 3.12 update and so then u can use that BUT honestly think about it logicly theres not even a 3.12 update yet so it wont hurt to try it
