Same, I bought my copy of Lumines from ebay on June 28 07(Thursday). He shipped it Friday and since July 2nd was a holiday it will be a little bit more. I ordered xpress-post so I'm guessing either tomorrow or Friday. If not I'll be very pissed off.

well im finallly home at 5 am and im drunk and i got my lumines and i downgraded to 1.50 and then upgraded to 3.40 oe-a =D this downgrader is really simple and easy to do and safe ..the instructions that come with it a lil murky?...but if you have 2 cents worth of a brain you can put it together eventually lol

I have a PSP with the TA-082 motherboard, firmware version 3.11 (fresh out of the box) & the right copy of Lumines. Is the Luminous downgrade safe for my particular PSP? Can you post a link to lead me in the right direction?
Oh yeah. I've read conflicting info about whether my 4GB memory stick / card can be used if I ever succeed in downgrading. Any one know for sure if I can or cannot use it?

Yeah you have to upgrade to 3.50 and then downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to an OE.

Any input regarding my 4GB memory question? Can I use it with firmware 1.5 &/or 3.40 OE? Is there any situation that would not allow me to use it?

Hey ZCG, what is your memory stick question? Is it regarding brands or that it is possibly a fake? I'm sorry if I missed it but this thread has like 11 pages, wasn't about to read them all...I mean if it fits in your psp and is sandisk, or sony I don't see a problem...

WTH? This issue is so dead I couldn't even believe it was able to be bumped! One thread that should be deleted, but instead, I'll be good enough to give out a good search tip...
Those STILL stuck on 3.11 for whatever godforsaken reason, do a search for 3.50 downgrader. That's all you ever need to know from here.

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but I've googled and searched the forums to no avail... :( My question is this, my brother in law is shipping to Iraq and so he bought a PSP used from EB with F/W 3.11. I think it's a refurb but when I tried to upgrade it to 3.50 so I can downgrade it to 1.5 then upgrade it to a custom firmware, it gave me a error saying something about cannot perform update yada yada. I managed to do mine a while ago with only minor noob problems so I'm kinda lost here. I've heard about the "stuck" problems for 3.11 and I was wondering if there are any fixes for this. I feel really bad because I told him used would be just as good and it would work with 3.11 because it did with mine, any help would be appreciated because I don't want to trade him mine but if I can't downgrade his it would be the only right thing to do. P.S. I used the Lumines exploit for mine and also he doesn't want it to pirate games- he bought a buttload, he just wants to be able to put them on a memory stick for obvious travel reasons. also can someone point me in the direction of how to take a UMD and make it an ISO? Thanks, and I apologize in advance if this posting is in any way erronious.

Sorry dont know how to take care of your upgrading to 3.50 problom. But to make a UMD to an ISO your best bet is to use 3.52 M33-3 or if there is a newer update. On the XMB press "home" and go down to memory card and change it to UMD. Then just connect your psp to your computer and copy the first thing that pops up when you turn on youtr computer. I think thats how its done.

Anyway, dear people, whether you have an original style PSP ("fat", "phat") or a newer style ("slim", "lite") we can downgrade them ALL by using a Pandora's Battery & "Magic" memory stick. If you have a PSP that already has firmware version 1.5 or any type of Custom Fimrware then you can make the Pandora items all by yourself. If your PSP has nothing but regular, official firmware then you'll either need to downgrade your own PSP the old fashioned way OR find someone with a downgraded or custome firware PSP & give them your battery & PRO DUO memory stick with at least 128mb of available space. They can make you the Pandora items. Then you pop 'em back into your own PSP & follow the steps in a guide (so many of them, just look around) & you'll can downgrade your PSP &/or add custom firmware.
Are you asking "what is Pandora's battery"? Look around these forums (might even be stickied by now) or Google it. It's as easy as that. Noobz.com even has a list of people who are able to help you get this set up.
