Hi, had the box for a week, came all set up by someone local ( as i'm useless with this stuff) did a scan for channels as requested- all ok so far, but after wathching a channel for say 20 mins it tends to go off and the sound stutters. sometimes just reverts to black screen. if I reboot all comes back on for a while but same again after a while. Is this normal.

the same thing happens to me (sagem 2xAMD), i have heard that disconnecting the modem will help but can't see how this will affect it? anyways, i'll try tonight and post back.

timoweb - is mgcam good then compared to evocamd - got a issue with evocamd on a sagem 1x where keys dont update as often as they should, restarting cam fixes it..

Depends on which version it is and which image your using it on, both cams work ok on my Nokia. Worth i try switching cam then you need to restart your box.
My sagem came with a sportster image and newcamd and newcamd_alternate. Ucode 001A used to freeze on me but ucode 0014 has been stable but I do get some jitter every so often and thought it might be the EMU.
Is my image compatible with the evocamd?
Is it just a case of copying files in the correct directories to be able to select them?

Ive tried changing the ucodes and EMU (00F1) and evocamd works for me for so long then its starts to jitter and screen goes blank, not sure wot to do now anyone any ideas?
