how does the recovery thing for the psp work? what version does it work on? please help me. basically, tell me all about it. thankyou

I think only 3.0X OE-X has recovery mode. And I remember another custom firmware has it too. In order to activate recovery mode, turn it off (not sleep mode), hold R while turning it on. Keep holding until you see a purple screen. There you go.
