i bought my ar max evo edition in 2007.for some reason the codes don't save to the memory card.i have to start the game through the ar max disk every time.so i'm wondering what the "below 3.14 fix" does,does it make a difference?

It's not meant to, there's no solution for this.
Is it such a big deal to start the AR Max disc everytime?

the below 3.14 fix is for certain versions of AR Max that have problems with some codes.

And as above, you must load AR Max each time you want to play a game with codes. There is no PS2 cheat system out there that i know that is not like that.
