Omfg read the 100 other threads like this one, YOU CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!

Your PSP is toasted. You need either a new motherboard or a mod chip (80-100 dollars) plus installation.

Btw, how did it brick?

I dunno, But I don't remember 2.71 playing ISO's. When I first got my PSP it was 2.71 and don't think it could play ISO's. I had to downgrade it. Now mines on 3.03 OE-B.

SO 2.71 can't play ISO's afterall? I'll edit this post. I'll look for a tutorial.

EDIT: I must know if your MOBO is TA-082.

If it IS TA-082, then this is for you.

it sounds like to me that you are running 3.02 oe-b, and you are putting your .isos into your iso folder

the problem is, that won't work with 3.02 oe-b. you need to upgrade to 3.03 oe-c to be able to run isos from the ISO folder.

If you want to keep 3.02 oe-b, and run iso files, you would need some type of program to emulate umd (DAXZISO for example)

its in your best interest to update to 3.03 oe-c anyway. I had this EXACT problem last week.

I think that's what you meant anyway haha
