PLease Help. Creating an image with ImageTool

I used Shrink dvd to compress a dvd9. now i'm trying to create an image with imageTool so i can burn it with dvd decrypter. BUt i'm having trouble getting imagetool to work. When i try to create the disk image and error message pops up saying that it can't locate a video_ts folder, and prompts me to re-enter. As far as i can tell, the video_ts is there. Does anyone know why it can't locate this folder when i see it clearly in window explorer. video_ts is currently in mpeg format. thanx in advance

It should be VIDEO_TS not video_ts. Also, have you not got Nero or something to burn with, as it is better?

Oriphus, you seem like a guru when it comes to these things so can i get your e-mail or aim so i can ask you direct questions. Because i still don't get all this. My computer did save a file from the movie containing VIDEO_TS. so why can't imagetool find it when i direct it to the right folder. I do have Nero but i get a error message there too. When i drag the movie to the write window and try to write it says that a dvd-video file compliance test fail, the movie might not play, do i wish to continue. Even if i continue and try to play it in my dvd player it wouldn't play. Besides don't i need an image of the movie to burn on Nero correctly anyway. Again i used DVD Shrink to compress a dvd9 and now i'm trying to get an image from it with imagetool so i can start writing it. PLease help, i just can't figure all these error messages out

Im not too good with image tools. Your Nero version, what is it? Dont use Nero Express, use the Burning ROM or enterprise and make sure to have the latest version of 5.5.10.42. You can get it from the Nero.com" class="korostus" target="_blank">http://www.Nero.com website.

VIDEO_TS is a better method of burning than an image, in my opinion anyway. Make sure to use the caps and include all of the files outputted by DVD Shrink in the VIDEO_TS folder.

Also, go to http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/nero.htm and follow the Nero guide.

ok this is how far i got, when i tried to make a image out of my dvd9 using ImgTools, i get a runtime error just when it almosts completes the image creation. It states "runtime error, Program:...OCALS~1\Temp\Rar$Ex15.98266\ImgTool.089.dll\ImgTool.exe

abnormal program termination"

What could this mean. did it run into some kind of copyright protection. Let me know what you think it is and tell me how to get around it. i used shrink dvd to compress the dvd9, now i'm trying to use ImgTool to make a image i can write off of. thanx in advance.
