Why does my audio only work on the first picture?

This is the first time I have tried to create a DVD of pictures. I have imported the pictures just fine and the slideshow is great but I want to put some music to it. I have downloaded a song and it's in Mpeg format. I go to the audio edit and click on that song again and again and it only goes to the first picture which is actually a title page. I can do that to each picture but the song will start over with each one. Not exactly what I had in mind. How can I get the music to play while the slideshow is going on?
