PAL PS2 playing imports with Swap Magic

Hi,

I'm using swap magic with my PAL PS2 - however this is the first time I've tried this and when I put in my NTSC game - it says not PS2 format disk. So I'm wondering is the disk faulty (the game one)...

Also when I put in the game without using Swap Magic...it comes up with that red screen saying its not a Playstation 2 disk...

Any ideas ?

there's something wrong the import. if it's a backup disc, it's probably needs some rebuilding or something went wrong with burning.

btw, you have to get yourself a new rgb cable to play the imports in color, with the standard cable all you get is black and white

Its an original disk - bought it on ebay - it looks okay - but then maybe you never know...

try backing up the disc; rip, rebuild, burn and if the disc is fine there should be no problem.
