Hey !

After solidly reading through an hour of posts on the forum, iam now more confuded than ever before. I have the time powerstation with the above drive and never thought making a backup could be so difficult! Its obvious that different things are working for different people which is why im needing a little help.

I have Pinnacles InstantCD/DVD and Record Now Max 4.0. have installed DVD Decrypter also. Is it wise to uninstall Pinnacle? A few posts have led me to believe that there are software conflicts?

Finally, i would have never thought it mattered what type of DVD-R disc you used so long as it was minus? Wrong (again) If theres anyone in the same position as me who has sucessfully made a backup of a DVD - please let me know.

Cheers

Cheers for the reply m8.

Just downloaded a full working version of dvdxcopy 1.3. Not use dit yet but im sure it'l be ok. DVD Decrypter seems like an excellent lil' prog. Will have to get some of those Verbatims. I noticed as I was writing a PS2 game to the hard drive that the rite speed went up to 5 and a bit. What speed of Verbatims should I use. Any particuler colour like the data-safes?

Cheers

Much to my dissapointment, decrypting with DVD Decrypter did not work. I now have Ulead MOvie Factory which im told is excellent. The burn went smoothly, i dont understand. The disc was written to , but only a few sectors. Any ideas ? The Verbatims are the best CD's so im told - also most expensive lol ! Also - is it possible that a DVD-RW could play in the ps2 - or only in the PC is was written to ?

Cheers

HI Space6982,
don't know shit about ulead.are you reading dvd decrpypter with iso mode ??. not sure about dvd-rw working in ps2. cd-rs don't work real good.I have no need to decrypt with xpress and games are only two clicks and its done.
