Hi guys, can u help tell me where I'm going wrong? I can use DS to put the VOB files onto the HD from different movies, like action scenes etc, they are also in separate movie folders so I can search for them on my DeskTop.

When I want to put all the movie clips onto one dvd and have them run from one to the next, I run into a problem.

Say for instance I want to save a movie clip from MI III and it goes into the folder MI III and has vob1 , vob2 etc etc.

When I do another say from Terminator it also has VOB 1 and vob2. Will it not over write the vobs when I use Nero to make a compilation dvd?

The quick and drity method is to use Shrink reauthor. Go into reauthor and select each movie you want. Shrink can even cut the movie into clips. When done back it up.

see the arrows under re-authored DVD to make a clip

i can do that. Its when I have 1 film in a folder it has vob1 and vob2 etc. If I do another film in another folder it too has vob1 and vob2 etc etc. If i want to put these onto a dvd won't it say something like, do you want to over right film1 vob1 with film2 vob1?

No it won't.
You will have Title 1 and Title 2.

This can be done very easily in DVD Shrink. Just use re-author as described above already.
Browse to your first folder and it will show Title 1, title 2 etc.
Drag the title you want on the DVD from the right window to the left window.
Then browse to your next folder this will also show title 1, title 2 etc., but don't worry it isnt a problem :-)
Just select the title(s) you want to add and drag them to the left window.
there is no need to rename the VOB files.

This will give you a better idea of what I am talking about.

@ bb u make it too easy for newbies. I had too learn this stuff the hard way. Trial and coaster. Not really I used RWs so I had no coasters.

sorted .... I now know that I have to make the movie clips into different folders then use DVDShrink to make into one movie title for me to burn. One further question. Does anyone have a software that allows me to put fade in fade out titles before each clip is viewed?
