downgrading from 2.5 or higher w/o gta on ta-82 possible?

so my friend has a 2.5 psp that he asked me to downgrade. its ta-82 i believe from the writing. is there a way to downgrade w/o gta? i havnt found one. please help :)
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

thanks. sorry, i was just in a hurry last night and after blowing 30 minutes on research in google i posted here. sorry about the wrong placement too, i forget there is multiple psp forums. there needs to be multiple ps3 forums.

if i bricked it, does it turn on and stay black? or does it not turn on? that would blow since i followed it step by step and even opend hen-d and all that.

Theres an easy downgrader that installs hen-d for you when it downgrades, thats what i used its basically noob proof as long as u got over 75% battery life and the ac plugged in.

I think thats the one i used its been awile though so im not entirely sure.

i used that, and now all that i get is black. what can i do to unbrick? i heard some retail chains unbrick for you. a new mobo with 1.5 on it?
