network - three

What network are you on. It is difficult to unlock these phones but it is impossible to unlock 3 network 6280's at this time. I do have some unlock codes that might work if you are on a different network.

The 6280 can not be unlocked by any calculator and that goes for all BB5 models. Only the network provider can unlock BB5 models, there is no other way to unlock them.

Wish someone had told me that before I paid a fiver for unlock codes!!! Is there a way to get a 3 6280 unlocked yet? Nokia told me contact 3 and 3 said they can't give out that information.

Whoever you spoke to at 3 is talking sh*t m8. Only 3 can provide you with a working code, Nokia has nothing to do with it, Nokia ships out there mobiles sim free, it is the networks that put sim locks and other crap on them.

Call 3 again and say you would like the unlocking code as you are going abroad and need the phone unlocked, there will however be a charge of anything from £15-30.
