does anybody else have a problem with this game freezing up,i can play dvd movies but everytime i start playing splinter cell it goes so far then freezes up.

Is it an original or a Backup? I have mine backed up, and I haven't had any problems with it. What did you use to burn it? If you did burn it, there could be a problem with the SS file you got, unless you got it from the Original. What kind of discs are you using? Verbatim are the best, I've used Memorex, but I'm having problems with those.

I would burn it at a lower speed. Do it at 2x/2.4x!
