Whar can i do with my TA-80 2.60 psp ?

Hi! im new here, and i received this psp for my birth day (TODAY!)
What can i do with this psp ?
i heard i can downgrade or emulate 1.5 if i upgrade to 2.7, but if i launch a upgrade, will not it upgrade to the latest version ?
When i go to system information, it tell me this:
System Software Version 2.60
does that mean that i have the version 2.60 ?
when i put a umd on the umd slot, and i go to the game menu, it have a icon called "PSP(tm) Update ver 2.60
so.. i have and i dont have 2.60 ? lol!
can anyone help me on that ?

oh a frenchie.. do you have any hot chicks there? i mean the model types :D heheheh
anyway i suggest upgrade it to 2.71 then downgrade it to 1.5 then update it to 3.03oe-c, then you can play all the iso games that you want. sorry, i dont have the time to browse the exact hyperlink. you'll just have to find them for yourself ;)

ok were not going to teach you how to upgrade to a new firmware. that is something that can be learned by reading THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL THAT CAME WITH YOUR PSP. If you dont read a lil bit into what you're doing, IE upgrading, downgrading, flashing, you will have a high chance of bricking. You dont want that.

i know how to upgrade from my psp !
but if i launch an upgrade, WILL it upload to the latest firmware and scrap my psp ?

your last statement makes it blatantly obvious you dont. if u did know u wouldnt be asking that. read about downloading updates, not from your PSP on your PC. you need the 2.71 update.

do u have a ta-082? you should read up on how to run the actual update tho. just putting it on ur psp wont do it. Anyhow u need to upgrade to 2.71 first. then we can worry about downgrading, 1.50, OE custom firmware.

u have a ta-082. you will need to upgrade to 2.71 official firmware and downgrade with the easy ta-082 downgrader. all can be found at psp-hacks.com

I still dont have a memory card becose i received it from someone for my bithday. ill try this next day , as soon as i buy one.
do you know the price of a 1gb or 2gb one ?
