Hello everyone, recently my xbox 360 dvd drive broke and i tossed the dvd drive thinking that i can just buy another one and put it in. but i guess that's not the case, because my friend explained the whole thing about flashing and how i need the key. But i was wondering if there is any way possible to get the key out of the consle now or am I completely screwed.... Thanks

You can get the key off the motherboard chip I think. Not sure and probably not possible without desoldering the chip and reading it in a programmer. Is there any way you can get the drive back or did the trash man come and take it away?
